How to View Enrollments

The Enrollments tab in the Student Information System (SIS) has many views to help you manage your student enrollments and provide you with ways to easily communicate with one or more students.

Enrolled & Waiting View

The Enrolled & Waiting link shows you all students who are currently enrolled in courses as well as students who are on a waiting list. This includes students who are enrolled in future semesters whose courses have not started yet. The list is automatically sorted by the date the course was requested, but you can click any column header to sort.  Please follow the steps below to access this view:

  • Log into your account at https://qsivirtual.geniussis.com/
  • Click on the Enrollments tab.
  • Click the Get Data button.

From here, there are filters available to allow site coordinators to create more specific reports if needed. For example, you can filter it to only show students currently enrolled or on the wait list for a particular course, or filter it by semester. You can also export this report to Excel by clicking on the Export Results to Excel button in the right hand corner.

Site coordinators can also customize the visible columns in this view by clicking the Customize Columns link just above the table's right corner. From here, click on the column name you wish to change and select a new option from the drop-downs available. Once you are happy with your changes, click the Save button to update your view.

Enrollment History View

The Enrollment History link displays all past and present student enrollments, including drops. The list is automatically sorted by ID number but you can click any column header to sort. In the Status field, there are 4 variable names that each have an important meaning:

  • DROPPED_GRACE means the student dropped before the end of the billing grace period as well as before the end of the add/drop date.
  • WITHDRAWN means that the student dropped after the end of the add/drop date. These students will be issued a grade of W.
  • ACTIVE means the student is actively enrolled in the course
  • COMPLETED means the student has completed the course, grades have been confirmed, and the course has been marked complete in SIS (Student Information System). When a student has been marked complete, they have access to their transcript(s).

Please follow the steps below to access this view:

  • Log into your account at https://qsivirtual.geniussis.com/
  • Click on the Enrollments tab
  • Click Enrollment History in the left-hand margin
  • Click the Get Data button

This view can also be filtered as needed. For example, a site coordinator can select a specific semester and status from the drop-down filters before clicking Get Data. This can be useful for finding information such as the number of DROPPED_GRACE students during the fall semester. You can also export this report to Excel by clicking on the Export Results to Excel button in the right-hand corner.
