How to Scan a Document or Image

iOS Devices (iPhones and iPads)

Using the Notes App

1. Open Notes and create a new note.

2. Tap the camera icon and select “Scan Documents”.

3. Position the document in the frame.

4. The app will automatically capture the image.

5. Adjust corners if needed and tap “Keep Scan”.

6. Add more pages or tap “Save” when finished.

Using Files App

1. Open the Files app and navigate to a folder.

2. Tap the three-dot menu and select “Scan Documents”.

3. Capture the document as with the Notes app.

4. Name and save your scan as a PDF.

Android Devices

Using Google Drive

1. Open Google Drive and tap the “+” button.

2. Select “Scan”.

3. Position your document and tap the capture button.

4. Adjust the scan area if necessary.

5. Tap the checkmark to save, or add more pages.

Using Google Stack (Document Scanner)

1. Open the Stack app.

2. Tap the “+” button to start scanning.

3. Frame your document and let the app auto-capture.

4. Adjust corners if needed and tap “Done”.

5. Add details or tags, then save.
