How to Log In and Reset your Password

Changing Your Current Password

VHS Learning students and faculty can change their passwords for the Student Information System and Learning Management System by following these instructions:

1. Go to https://qsivirtual.geniussis.com/
2. Log in.
3. Click the Edit Account link in the left frame.
4. Enter the old and new passwords in the appropriate fields.
5. Click the Save button.

Please note that passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number.

Reset a Forgotten Password

If you do not know your password, a new one can be created without logging in by following these instructions:

1. Go to https://qsivirtual.geniussis.com/

1. Click the Forgot your Login and/or Password? link.

1. Enter the username or email address associated with the account.

Note:  If using an email address, this address MUST match the one you registered with for QSI Virtual School.

1. A secure link to reset your password will be sent via email.

1. An on-screen confirmation message appears.
2. Click on the password reset link from your email to reset your password.
3. The link from the email will take you to a screen to create your new password. Type it in, then enter it again to confirm.

1. Click the submit button to finish resetting your password.

How to Unlock your Account 

If the wrong password is entered too many times when logging into Genius SIS, your account may be locked out for security purposes. 

1. If you are locked out of your account, please submit a support request to have a QSI Virtual School support team member unlock it for you. 
2. If you believe your account may be compromised, or if you suspect someone else may be trying to access your account, please submit a support request immediately.
